Indiana Governor Budget Plan Bears Similitude to McCarter IL Debt Solution
INDIANA -- Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels announced spending cuts that call for a $1 billion surplus by June 2011. Daniels has endeavored greatly to protect Indiana taxpayers from increases by cutting state costs, a goal that thus far has not resulted in job loss. Read more here. 

What Illinois taxpayers should know is that the neighboring state of Indiana has been the recipient of the exodus of some corporations from Illinois due to high business costs such as unemployment and workman's compensation. Senator Kyle McCarter states that budgetary costs across the board would not only inspire businesses to return to Illinois, but, like Indiana, it would protect the taxpayer. "... it's working for them," says McCarter.
